Birthday sketches

Okay so they're not so birthday themed...but it IS my birthday. Anyway, some sketchery: the girl I did yesterday, just a random little girl. I'm trying to stay away from drawing animals for a bit since I've done it all my life and need to branch out. The sad-lookin kid...I dunno where that came from. I started drawing floopy hair and he happened. I need to color him but FIRST I must find my markers (ack!)

I am not crazy about some of these animals (I love the lion though!) but this blog is here in order to create a forced sketching slave enviornment for myself! SO here's my nightly offerings!

I do like this girl, but she's very...uh...decent. TOO decent. She's hiding something...in that basket....or in the dog...

The top one's a random dog I drew in class one day. And below we have Agent Ruff...another invention. He may or may not be incorporated into a comic universe for which the cat he's saving/strangling is the star.
