So I've officially become obsessed with bento! I am broke right now so I can't go all-out yet but I've been practicing making bentos for myself and my boyfriend. Here's some pictures. Sorry about the quality, they're phone camera pictures.
I found a lot of inspiration at www.cookingcute.com If you don't know what bento is, check it out on wikipedia but cooking cute is a good place to check out some homemade examples.
I got the container at Target for $4, which is great til I can afford an actual Japanese-style bento box.
Yay for bento!
